Pray with me Psalm 27 over the people of Ukraine – and pray that the Holy Spirit will touch the lives of many with comfort and care!
“The Lord is the light and salvation” (for His children in Ukraine). Whom shall they fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of their lives – of whom shall they be afraid? When the wicked forces advance against them- their enemies and foes (Vladimir Putin) they will stumble and fall (We pray, please Lord). Though an (Russian) army besieges them, their heart will not fear; though war break out against them even then will they remain confident! (Please guard their hearts).
One thing they ask from the Lord, this shall they seek, that they may dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of their lives to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in his temple. For in the day of their trouble, He will keep them safe in His dwelling! He will hide them in the shelter of His sacred tent and set them high upon a rock.
Then their heads will be lifted high above the enemies that surround them. At His sacred tent they will sacrifice with shouts of joy! They will sing and make music to the Lord! (Please give the Ukrainians your joy!)
Hear their voice, O Lord, when they call. Be merciful to them and answer them.
When their heart says “Seek His face, Your face will they seek! Do not hide Your face from them. Do not turn your servants in Ukraine away in anger. You who have been their help! Do not reject or forsake them, O God our Savior. Though their father and mother may forsake them, the Lord will take them up!
Teach them Your Way Lord, lead them in a straight path to You because of their oppressive, brutal enemies! Do not turn your Ukrainian children over to the desire of the Russian foes for false witnesses tell lies and false narratives against them spouting malicious accusations.
Oh Father! May they be confident of this: that they WILL SEE the goodness of you, Oh LORD in the land of the living. Wait for the LORD! Be STRONG and TAKE HEART and WAIT for the LORD!
